HOW TO MAKE AN ACAI BOWL?

There’s no better way to start the HAAKON blog than to share with you one of our favourite recipes using our awesome Acai packs!

Tasty, nutrient rich and easy.

No sugars added. NO additives. Even the acai pack is sugar free.

Serves 1-2. Prep time: 10min.

Ingredients
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup ripe mangoes. 
  • 2 acai packs (we use PURE forms, no SUGAR added. Do note that most acai smoothie packs are higher in calories due to pre added sugar)
  • 50g -100g of ice 
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 50ml coconut water
  • Recommended Toppings :whipped coconut cream, granola or Haakon’s grain free granola, bananas, berries, kiwi, etc.
How to do it?

Simply combine all ingredients (excluding the coconut whipped cream) in a blender an blend until smooth dark purple.

Decorate your bowl with your toppings and the coconut whip cream.

Melting too fast in our hot weather? 
-chill your bowl in the fridge as you prepare
-or put some ice cubes at the base 
or Freeze some of your toppings and put them at the base to prevent melting!:)
